Who we are (honestly)

"The Parrish Foundation" and "Build to Give" are the names of a personal giving mission. We are not an incorporated nonprofit, and we are not a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. We say this plainly because honesty is the entire point of this project.

How giving works

• We fundraise for SOS Children's Villages USA, a registered 501(c)(3) (EIN 13-6188433).
• All donations are made directly to SOS Children's Villages through their official fundraising platform. Your money never passes through us or any account we control.
• Donation receipts, tax deductibility, and refunds are handled entirely by SOS Children's Villages under their terms.
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an agent of SOS Children's Villages USA — we are independent supporters who fundraise for their cause.

The public ledger

The ledger on this site is our good-faith public record of funds generated for the cause through this mission. It is maintained manually and may lag behind real-time totals on the official fundraiser page. Where the two differ, the official SOS fundraising platform is the authoritative record.
